Broiled oysters with Parmesan and garlic
- Preheat oven at broil.
- Open oyster shells. Detach meat and leave in shell. Nestle shells securely in the coarse salt on a baking sheet.
- Divide garlic butter among oysters. Garnish with Parmesan shavings and sprinkle with Italian breadcrumbs.
- Broil in the oven until the cheese melts, about 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from the oven.
- Top with freshly ground pepper and snipped fresh chives. Serve immediately with lemon slices.
