- Rinse and drain white kidney beans; then place in food processor.
- Add remaining ingredients to food processor and pour 80 mL (⅓ cup) of water.
- Purée until smooth.
- Serve with a variety of cut fruit.
Keeps in the refrigerator for 5 days or 3 months in the freezer.
Chef’s secret (if desired)
- Regular beans have way too much salt for this recipe, so choose no salt added beans and then add a pinch of salt to the hummus for a perfectly balanced taste.
