Cream of tomato soup and grilled cheese cubes
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over low heat and fry onion and garlic for a few minutes without browning.
- Add canned tomatoes, vegetable broth, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer over low heat for an hour.
- Puree in a blender until smooth.
- Add cream and hot pepper flakes if using.
- Garnish with grilled cheese cubes.
