Orange-spice mulled apple cider
- Combine apple cider, cinnamon stick, orange slices, cloves, star anise, and allspice in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, and then reduce heat to low. Simmer, covered, 15 to 20 minutes. (If you prefer a stronger flavour, turn off the heat and steep another 20 minutes.)
- Strain, reserving orange slices. Ladle into mugs and garnish with reserved orange slices.
