Preheat the barbecue to medium-high. Oil the grill.
Mix together the ground beef, cheese curds, barbecue sauce, egg, and spices in a bowl. Shape into 4 patties.
Grill patties on barbecue about 15 minutes, turning at the halfway point, or until meat is no longer pink and internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
Toast the brioche buns on barbecue grill.
