- Combine all patty ingredients in a bowl. Shape into 4 patties with your hands and refrigerate.
- Combine all toppings in a separate bowl and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet set over medium heat; then cook patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked in the centre. Set aside.
- Toast buns. Place patty and add topping and lettuce.
On the barbecue, preheat the grill to 400°F; then cook each side of the lightly oiled patties for 4 to 5 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked in the centre.
You can swap tzatziki sauce for sour cream or plain Greek yogurt and add a little chopped garlic.
