Sirloin Brochettes with Beer and Fennel
- Place the sirloin cubes on 4 wooden skewers in alternation with pieces of green pepper and fennel. Place in a shallow dish and set aside.
- Combine the beer, olive oil, mustard, garlic and fennel leaves in a small bowl. Pour the mixture over the meat and ensure that it is thoroughly coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Drain off the marinade. Barbecue the brochettes on medium-high for 7 minutes. Turn them over and cook for another 7 minutes for medium doneness. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve with rice and a tomato salad.
