Have you heard of A2 milk?

A2 whole milk is gaining popularity all over the world, particularly as a result of its digestive and nutritional properties. This milk is not only higher in fat (5%), it also contains natural A2 beta-casein protein, which is easier for people who are lactose intolerant to digest. A growing number of studies suggest that the A1 beta-casein dairy protein found in nearly all regular milk may be the reason behind a portion of the population’s digestive issues, whereas the A2 beta-casein found in A2 whole milk may help improve the digestibility of dairy, hence the name!

In addition to containing more fat, protein, and calcium, this milk is produced locally at the Kaiser family farm in Montérégie. Their herd of Guernesey cows are the only ones used for dairy production in the entire province. Another benefit? Because they are smaller and eat less, Guernesey cows produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions than Holstein cows.

Cultured butter

Use clear containers to minimize waste, keep your pantry organized, and make mealtime easier!

  • Reuse the 950 g glass containers used for yogurt: fill them with dry ingredients such as legumes, rice, flour, short pasta, chocolate chips, dried fruit, oat flakes, nuts, etc.

  • Stock up on your favourite bulk ingredients and transfer them into the clear jars and label them. Get rid of bulky packaging and you’ll quickly be able to see what’s in the pantry.
